  We have stayed at Summerplace since 2005. Many units have updated their floors, furniture and such. The view is amazing and love that the complex is smaller and does not feel crowded like the BIG complex next door. Several places to walk to and eat. We love Stewbys! We also like the distance to other places in Destin without the busy of Destin.

  This condo was 5 stars. Pictures of this condo do not give it justice. Condo was very very clean and well maintained. Booking was super easy and the management company was very informative and attentive during our stay. We did have a leaking toilet that ran about every 15 mins at night but that was fixed immediately. We would definitely book this condo again for future stays.

  We had issues with a slow drain in the bath tub and the ice maker not working. Owner sent a text our second day and I mentioned the two issues and they sent someone right away to fix the drain. The ice maker didn’t ever make enough ice and we had to buy ice every day for our cooler since there wasn’t an ice machine on property..

  Plenty of room for 7 women. We booked for a bachelorette weekend. Several restaurants within walking distance and the boardwalk is a few minutes walk down the beach. Pool was great, the beach was easy to get to and wasn't as busy as the beach in Destin. The traffic is a nightmare trying to go over the bridge to the grocery store so keep that in mind. AJ's across the street has live music and great margaritas. Super fun. Condo had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, full size washer and dryer. Zero complaints. Would stay here again.

  Summer Place #507 has a wonderful location on Fort Walton Beach with a fabulous ocean beach view. The condo was the perfect size and was clean and well maintained.
  Mattresses were not the most comfortable and could probably use an upgrade. My suggestion would also be to have a covered garbage can in the kitchen pantry.

  We had another great visit at Summerplace. We have stayed at this complex for over 20 years and love it! Perfect size and location. I miss seeing Sally at the desk daily.. but touched base with her on her 2 days here. Unit was nice and clean with sufficient kitchen items. I would suggest a deep clean of the washer and keeping it open when not in use. I ran a clean cycle with bleach while there. Front loaders are terrible for keeping the smell out.

  We met Ron quite by accident a few years back. We had rented a condo through Airbnb and it wasn’t quite what we expected in that the pool was cold. I called Ron and he quickly found us a place at Summerplace. It was perfect. He and the staff at Legacy Vacations have been so easy to work with. I book my stays directly with them now. We have stayed at Summerplace for several years now and have never been disappointed! It’s a great place to stay out of the hustle and bustle of Destin. My grandson especially likes to walk across the street at night and play Putt-putt and eat ice cream afterwards! The people at the course are equally as accommodating and friendly! Legacy Vacations has a wonderful staff to work with and Summerplace is a great place to stay!

  Easiest rental process by far! The Communication all along the way was second to none either by phone, email, or text. The grounds were clean and presentable, the lobby staff and maintenance staff were friendly and approachable and the unit was better than described! The pool was warm (although the hot tub was out of order) and we made due anyway. It was a pleasure to stay here as a respite from going through Hurricane Ian and we will stay here again. The unit was easy to locate and close to everything - walkable to restaurants and an easy short drive to Destin. The unit was very well stocked - utensils, serving dishes, storage containers EVERYTHING! The shower was great and super water pressure. Enough space for 6 of us w/ plenty of room for us to have meals. it was great to have an icemaker in the freezer! The balcony was comfy and plenty of seating there as well. The elevators were fast and trash drop very convenient. I would recommend Legacy Vacations and will definitely book thru them again. It was a wonderful vacation!
