Summer Place #109

Summer Place #109 is a 1st floor beachfront unit. Open the patio door and you are steps from the hot tub, pool or white sand and waves! No need for a parking garage or elevators with this unit. Park right in front of the unit, enter with your digital lock code and start your vacation. It is very convenient when you are lounging at the beach or pool and want to grab something from the unit! You can also sit on the patio and keep an eye on the kids at the pool! Or walk out your patio door to the grill and picnic area which is just a few steps away!

Floor to ceiling patio doors in both the master suite and the living room lead to your own private patio. Summer Place #109 features four spacious bedrooms and sleeps nine comfortably with a king bed in the master suite, a king bed in the 2nd bedroom, a double bed in the 3rd bedroom and a double/twin bunk in the 4th bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless appliances along with a breakfast bar provided with all the conveniences of home. The living room has ample seating and a large flat screen TV. Each bedroom also has a flat screen TV. The master bath has a whirlpool tub with separate walk-in shower. Free WIFI throughout the condo! Luxury and elegance create the charm of Summer Place Condominium. Situated directly on the Gulf of Mexico on beautiful Okaloosa Island, Summer Place has quickly become a family favorite destination. Enjoy the two outdoor pools (one is seasonally heated), hot tub, 2 sets seasonal beach service (2 umbrellas, 4 chairs set up for you daily – March – October) and well-equipped fitness room during your family beach vacation.   We love staying at Summer Place and this unit was perfect for our family. The convenience of walking out the door to the pool and the beach was just fantastic. This unit is a little dated but overall our vacation was great. The 2 sets of beach service included was a definite plus. We love being able to walk to the restaurants. The only annoyance was that Legacy was charging $60 to get in early. In the past they just text us when it was ready and we could get right in.
  Otherwise they are very good to work with.

  Summer Place 109 was amazing! The unit was perfectly located right next to the pool with our own entrance from our deck. Beach access was right at the pool. We had 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas on the beach every day if we wanted at no charge. The building itself is in a perfect location with restaurants and shops within walking distance. Will definitely be back!

  Condo needs to be updated, not enough silverware, cooking supplies, dish towels. Some of the furniture was broken, the condo was not cleaned good , found food in bed and clothes in drawers. Loved the location of it being on the first floor , staff wasn't friendly at all

  *Pro’s* Easy to find. Easy in/out of the unit from both front and back. Tons of space inside. Direct access to pool and beach - such a perk and a huge driver in our booking. View from back porch is wonderful; ocean, pool, courtyard. Private given location off to the side yet close to it all. Property management co. was great-all info we needed delivered at just the right time. Beach service was a luxurious perk! I was expecting the pool (only one open at the time due to painting on other side) to be packed and it wasn't, ever. Also surprisingly quiet when we were there even if there were several groups out at pool.
  *Could use some work* (I’m getting granular for transparency) smells a bit musty (beyond simply being a beach unit). unit did not have a skillet of any sort and if we couldn’t have found an alternative (stock pot) I would have contacted property management co. Carpet has seen better days but is not gross by any means. Some rooms had curtains that weren’t functioning properly (broken wand or cords). Bunk room needs better curtain situation to block light -outside light is very bright at night. Some decor was borderline hazardous-tall pillar type items were easily knocked and could fall over if knocked not even super hard, some had objects and even glass hurricanes on them which could really be awful if they fell even if they didn’t hit anyone. TP holder in primary bath “broken”-just needs overhaul. Courtyard on other side of patio railing was in shambles-while construction was ongoing (painting) when we were there, there were abandoned tables, some random shingles, and so many cig butts on the ground that could have been cleaned w/ out interfering w/ workers.

  This is our 2nd time to stay in this unit. We love it! Ground floor is wonderful for our small grandkids and so convenient. We plan to stay again next year if available. The weather was perfect which was an added bonus! One of the dining chairs had a loose leg. The place was clean and ready for us. Hope to stay again.

  Overall we were very pleased with our stay at Summer Place 109. The unit was clean. This was our first time staying in a ground floor unit, and it was incredibly convenient. No elevators! We parked right outside our front door which was very nice. We discovered that our coffee maker was not functional the first morning we were there, and Sarah with Legacy Vacation responded so quickly and showed up with a brand new coffee maker that morning. She also responded quickly as our tub was missing a drain plug, and she delivered that as well. I was very pleased with her customer service. This is noteworthy as it seems that good customer service is impossible to come by these days.
  The only downside to the stay was that the "heated" pool was very chilly. The outside temperatures were in the mid 80s all week, and it was still really cold to swim in the pool. However, I understand that it is expensive to heat a pool.

  I really liked this condo. Being at the bottom floor worked out perfectly especially with a little one. I didnt have to worry about him falling off the patio and we had direct access into the parking lot for easy loading and unloading. Though we were at the first floor, we could still see the ocean, which was a huge plus.

  We had a great time. The condo needs a little attention. Broken kitchen trash can, vacuum broken, no hair dryers at all, no dust pan for sweeping, frying pan not usuable, cigarette butts outside front door and on side of patio. Stained carpet,needs some painting done, and wifi very spotty. With that said we love Summerplace. These issues were just an inconvenience nothing that ruined our trip. The owners of this unit just needs to do a walk through and see for themselves.
