Island Surf is a two story beachfront complex that offers the privacy of only eleven units. Centrally located between Fort Walton Beach and Destin on Okaloosa Island, this prime location is a short drive away from shopping, dining, attractions and much more!   We enjoyed our stay at Island Surf #5. The view was great. The condo was clean. The beach was convenient and having the beach chairs and umbrella setup included with the stay was so helpful. We loved how the condo seemed to be tucked away, secluded, and quiet. The only downside we found with the condo was the bed was extremely uncomfortable. If it wasn’t for the uncomfortable bed, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this same condo again.

  This is a perfect place to stay for a two people or a single person. It’s very cozy, clean and well maintained. It has a balcony with the view of the beach. We even saw dolphins several times. It is a quiet location and just a great place to stay.

  Compared to other condos in the area, this one was smaller, maybe 11 units. This allowed us to make friends with other vacationers. The complex had that old school beach vibe. It made the vacation so much more enjoyable, no hustle and bustle. No elevators, etc.. just a condo, a great view and access to the beach and a chance to meet other people.
  The condo was well equipped. It seemed like the owners were trying to furnish it for THEIR use, not for weekly renters. They did a great job of making sure we had everything we needed to have a nice vacation.

  We stayed 7 nights for our 10th anniversary. Very quiet and secluded location, yet close and conveniently located to everything you need. Beach service is a huge plus. Just walk down and enjoy the beautiful white sand beach and clear blue water. Unit has everything you need. Bed could be updated but we made do. Very clean and nicely decorated. Parking was right outside the door and beach right out back. We booked another week next year before we ever checked out. It's our new go to beach place.

  Island Surf #5 was simply perfect for our 4 night beach getaway. Beach is possibly 50 yards out back. Could not be more convenient. Little balcony facing the beach. The condo was very clean and beautiful. Lots of adorable beach-themed decor . . . modern, not dated looking at all like some other rentals. Some suggestions - bed, although comfortable, seemed like it had an older mattress with squeaky springs. Couch is a bit worn and uncomfortable. Balcony chairs need replaced, or at least cushioned. A retractable clothesline to drip dry swimsuits in shower would be a nice addition. Kitchen, although well appointed, was lacking coffee filters. . . but none of these are dealbreakers. We LOVED it.

  The condo is just like it is described. Great location, right on the beach with gorgeous Gulf views off of the balcony.
  Condo was pretty clean. The walls could be dusted (not a deal breaker at all) and maybe the couch updated or cleaned. But again those are not deal breakers in my book. The washer and dryer is right outside the condo door which is so convenient ....and it’s free!
  I loved how the condo complex itself was small. Not the super tall high rises with hundreds of condos. We went at the end of March. It has a pool but that was not heated. The owner or manager was super nice and answered any questions I had right away!!!
  It was a great place, great location and we would definitely stay here again.

  This was our 5th year staying at island surf. The condos are always very clean and the customer service is always amazing, with the Legacy staff.
  I have stayed in many of the other condos, as well as my family members. We usually rent 2 to 4 condos at a time. The only draw back with this condo is it desperately needs a mattress and bed frame upgrade.
