Island Surf #1

This is one of the few smaller vacation rental beach fronts left on Okaloosa Island. All of these units might as well be new. They were destroyed during the hurricane and have been gutted and re-done. These units have been grandfathered in as far as the required setback to the Gulf. Nothing is closer to the water than these!! If you are looking for a place with fewer units, this is it. | | Free use of community laundry room onsite.   Overall great. While Hurricane Milton was ponding other parts of Florida we had beautiful weather. Lot's of time on the beach, lots of walks on the beach, lots of delicious seafood, lots of dolphins! One minor thing, the blind on the living room window is broke (being super knit picky). The kitchen remodel looks great.

  We had a great week we stay in unit #1 every time we come this is our 25th year with family not counting friends trips. We didn’t have any problems this year. And the unit was nice and clean unlike some of the times we have been there and I had to clean it. I loved the new furniture this year. Sad to see they took off the colored bedding. And only had 2 pillows on the bed when we usually have 4. Everything outside looked great nice upgraded trash cans. Hopefully new restaurant beside us doesn’t ruin the parking lot. Will be back next hopefully everything stay the same! See ya next year!

  Great spot! Smelled like cigarette smoke when we arrived, in a non smoking unit, so that wasn’t nice. Would recommend putting up a shade or curtain in the rooms because the pool lights shined through the closed blinds all night. Other than that it was a great spot!
